The Paediatric Allergy Group at King's College London and Guy's & St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust is one of the biggest and most innovative research centres for children's allergies in the world, headed by Professor Gideon Lack. The Paediatric Allergy Group hosts a portfolio of non-commercial and commercial studies with a focus in food allergy diagnosis, prevention and treatment. The Operations Officer (Research) will have the opportunity to be involved in and manage cutting-edge research studies. This will include assistance with the set-up, implementation of effective administrative, management, recruitment and data collection systems to ensure successful participant enrolment and the smooth and safe running of each study.
The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or benefit from relevant experience, be highly organised with meticulous attention to detail, have experience with patient contact working in a primary care, hospital or other health setting and be able to work under pressure in a busy environment, with a strong focus on solutions and quality.
This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract for 12 months.
This is a full-time post.
The selection process will include competency-based questions and a panel interview.
