Part-time Tutor (holding the title of School Leadership Development Officer) in the Centre for Information Technology in Education within the Faculty of Education (2 posts) (Ref.: 494059) (to commence on March 1, 2019 until August 31, 2021, on a temporary term)
Applicants should possess (i) a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Social Sciences, Education or other relevant fields, (ii) a professional qualification in education, and (iii) at least 10 years’ senior management experience in schools. Priority would be given to those who have served as a school principal or vice-principal with experience in leading school-based curriculum/assessment development and/or pedagogical/e-learning innovations.
The appointees will assist the Project Manager and Project Development Officers in the following activities:
- To work collaboratively with project team members to support principal and senior teachers in project schools in the design, implementation and evaluation of the organizational infrastructure and decision-making mechanisms that facilitate advances in teacher and student learning, and the implementation of STEM curriculum using student-centered approaches in upper primary and lower secondary grades respectively;
- To work collaboratively with participating teachers in designing curriculum using self-directed learning strategies in STEM.
