The University’s new Faculty of Health is being formed from its two existing structures covering a broad health base across medicine, dentistry, biomedicine, nursing, allied health professions and psychology.  Plymouth was the first post-92 university to have its own medical school and is the largest provider of nursing training in the south-west. A vibrant, interdisciplinary community of students, researchers and staff work closely with the NHS Trusts in the south-west region under the banner First Choice for Health.
