Salary: £15.36 - £17.25 per hour

Leeds Arts University is the only specialist arts university in the North of England. We have contributed significantly to the development of arts education for over 170 years, and have developed a national and international reputation based on the achievements of our students and staff.
We run a number of successful creative short courses on Saturdays, evenings and in school holidays targeting school children (https://www.leeds-art.ac.uk/study/young-creatives/).
The Children’s Art School Courses take place on a Saturday between 10.00am and 4.00pm (5 hour session). In addition to the contact time you will also be paid for 30 mins admin time per hour of contact. Fixed term contracts will be offered for each course, and each contract is subject to sufficient numbers of student enrolment. We also run sessions throughout the Easter and Summer school holidays.
Applicants should have a recognised qualification in the relevant area, an ability to teach the practical skills in the subject area, knowledge of Health & Safety and safe working practices, and the ability to inspire and enthuse learners.
