About the Job

The School of Marketing is part of the UniSA Business School and is one of Australia’s largest Schools of Marketing. The School is home to the renowned Ehrenberg-Bass Institute for Marketing Science. The Institute receives sponsorship funding from a wide range of the world’s leading marketing companies in Australia, Europe, Asia and the United States to support its programs of fundamental research into empirical laws in marketing. Over the last five years the School of Marketing and Institute have received over 50% of all external research funding in the Marketing discipline in Australia.

The School utilises this cutting-edge research in its courses to prepare students for real-world marketing practice. The School has a large cohort of research students and strong engagement with the international community of scholars.

The School is looking for a Senior Lecturer in Marketing who would be expected to make independent and significant contributions to the teaching and research in the School with an emphasis on digital marketing, with strong links to contemporary marketing practice, in both teaching and research.

Skills and Experience

The successful applicant will have an ongoing research record of high-quality publications, engagement with the business community, and potential for, or prior experience in, the development of industry-funded research and/or grant applications related to digital marketing. Contributions to development and teaching of high quality undergraduate and postgraduate courses in digital marketing, including experience in teaching in an online environment is also required.
