The School of Literature and Languages is seeking temporary, associate tutors to deliver our 2019 summer Pre-sessional courses during the following periods:

24th June – 13th September (12 weeks)

and

22nd July – 13th September (8 weeks)

The roles are full-time for the period of the course.  There may also be a possibility of vacancies on the 5-week course starting on 12th August. 

Please indicate in your cover letter which course or courses you would like to be considered for.

Applicants should hold a degree, a TEFL/TESOL qualification (preferably a Diploma) and have experience of teaching English for Academic Purposes in a higher education context.  A Master’s degree or doctorate is desirable. 

Pay

£761.76 per week + 12.07% holiday pay. We ask that applicants do not have pre-existing holiday requirements as these cannot be facilitated. 

Paid induction of 2 days the week before the course will be provided.

Campus accommodation will be available for staff at discounted rates.
