Job description

Coventry University is recognised as one of the leading UK study destinations for international students.  We've put ourselves on the global map by recruiting students from 87% of the world in just 10 years through our International Office. Continuing success means that must invest in the leadership of our Admissions Team to grow recruitment and maintain an admissions process that's the envy of many in our sector.

We need a skilled International Admissions Manager who will:

  • Show a track record in managing large volumes of student applications from countries worldwide, across multiple campuses and for several intakes at the same time.
  • Use solid expertise to understand external visa regulations, internal admissions processes and different academic standards from countries across the world to make the admissions process robust, objectively fair and transparent to stakeholders.
  • Work alongside colleagues in the Conversion Team in a timely fashion to help them meet sales and recruitment targets at the same time as protecting the quality of the admissions decisions.

The International Office takes responsibility for recruiting students to study for a Coventry University degree. We take pride in understanding the needs of different students from different cultures, both in the EU and outside the EU. We encourage undergraduate and postgraduate students to apply directly to us, or through our global network of sales agents.

We show a young and vibrant worldwide audience how a degree from Coventry will change their lives. Because of this, we're recognised as 2nd in the UK for Teaching Excellence. And 97% of our students are employed or in further study six months after they graduate.

As results-driven organisation marketing courses to global customers, we adopt working patterns that help us 'make the sale'. Although this is a 0.6FTE/part-time role, we'd expect some flexibility at peak times during the recruitment cycle. Show us how you'll hit the ground running from day one by applying at the link below.
