In 2019, we will continue to develop research and research-led teaching that meets the needs of industry, while giving our international and socially mobile students the opportunity to apply their knowledge for the benefit of society.

Brunel is now seeking to appoint a Vice-Provost International and Academic Partnerships to drive, champion and facilitate the growth and development of high-quality, interdisciplinary, international academic partnerships. This post will impact all areas of Brunel’s activity, enhancing existing relationships and developing innovative new relationships that have a positive and sustainable impact on the University. The role holder will be a strong ambassador for Brunel and will embed a culture of internationalisation within the student experience, research and education, and work collaboratively with colleagues both internal and external to Brunel.

Strong candidates will bring experience of implementing strategic initiatives, developing international networks and leading successful collaborations in a Higher Education or related setting.  Adaptability and approachability, alongside perception and diplomacy are key attributes, as are excellence in relationship and rapport building. Knowledge of issues relating to transnational education and international trends that impact teaching and research, allied to an ability to motivate and develop trust and respect across the institution will be critical to success.
