Assistant, Associate or Full Professor in Human Resource Management

The Opportunity

Zayed University’s College of Business invites applications for Human Resource Management (HRM) faculty positions in the College of Business on the Abu Dhabi or Dubai campus for start dates of August 2019 OR January 2020.  Rank is open depending on qualifications.

Candidates must demonstrate excellent teaching capabilities and will be expected to teach a variety of subjects within the Human Resource Management (HRM) and Organizational Behavior (OB) disciplines. Desired areas include Staffing, Compensation and Performance, Organizational Development and Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), among others. Most teaching is conducted in the undergraduate program, but a few courses are offered in the MBA program.  

The successful candidate will also be expected to conduct high-quality research and publish in highly regarded academic journals. There will be opportunities to work with the existing faculty, whose interests lie in (but not limited to) international HRM, cross-cultural management, equality and diversity management, business leadership, human resource development and organizational psychology. Responsibilities also include service to the College and University.

Requirements
Applicants should have completed a PhD with a specialization in HRM or a related field (such as Organizational Behavior or Occupational Psychology) ideally from an AACSB or EQUIS accredited business school from a QS ranked university.

It is highly desired that applicants for the position of Assistant Professor have prior publications in Scopus listed and ABDC (or ABS) ranked journals, and teaching experience in HRM/OB subjects.

Applicants for the position of Associate or Full Professor must have an impressive record of publications in Scopus listed and ABDC (or ABS) ranked journals. Evidence of course development and excellence in teaching in HRM/OB is essential, as well as experience in college and university committees.
