Research Associate

Department : Global Institute For Women's Leadership

The Research Associate will work as part of the team delivering the ESRC-sponsored Open Research Area project 'The Nature of Political Representation in Times of Dealignment' (NaPRe), directed by Principal Investigator Prof. Thomas Zittel at Goethe University Frankfurt. The ORA project brings together academics in three universities, linked to an extended network of international academic partners in 5 other countries.

The post-holder will work with the rest of the project team to help design and conduct field experiments, taking the lead in the administration of the British experiment and collection of the British MP data. The post-holder will contribute to the project outputs and will have the opportunity to present findings and develop research networks. A researcher experienced with experimental and quantitative research methods is required to ensure the quality of the data and the integrity of this complex project.

This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract for 27 months.

This is a full-time post - 100% full time equivalent.

The selection process will include a panel interview and a presentation.

Grade and Salary : Grade 6, £37,412 to £44,015 per annum, inclusive of £3,223 per annum London Allowance.
