The Business Intelligence Team, part of CQUni’s Finance and Planning Division, is responsible for the University’s Data Warehouse. The team provides university wide reporting across financial, academic and organisational data. Services include reports and dashboards as well as predictive analytics to support professional staff, academics and executives in data driven decision making.

This position can be based at the vibrant Rockhampton North campus in sunny Central Queensland or in the heart of the city at the Brisbane Campus in South East Queensland.

You will bring to the position:

• Actively develop and deliver Business Intelligence capabilities which underpin decision making and operations across the University.
• You are responsible for the development and maintenance of business intelligence functionality and use a range of systems, databases and tools to drive performance improvements, create operational efficiencies and support strategic initiatives which benefit the University as a whole.

• Significant experience undertaking development and testing of data integration and multidimensional data models in large and/or complex organizations.
• Significant experience in the Business Intelligence Lifecycle and experience using the Microsoft BI Stack.
• Demonstrated skills in the development of Multidimensional and Tabular Models.
• Strong Data Modelling experience, ideally in DataVault 2.0 and Multi-dimensional techniques.
• Working knowledge of Analytics and BI Tools especially the Microsoft BI Stack (SSAS, SSIS, SSRS), WhereScape RED/3D, Alteryx
