Job description

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to work on a variety of projects and make a significant impact in a key and expanding area of the University's business. The post is situated within the University's Registry, working for the Group Director of Quality Assurance.             

The University Group has been growing developing access, foundation and apprenticeship courses. This new post will support Registry and represent the University Group on all matters related to Ofsted. You will be able to provide leadership, challenge and guidance to course teams and work on new developments.

You will be a person with extensive experience of quality assurance and the requirements of Ofsted. You will be willing to act as the nominee for when an Ofsted visit takes place. You will be passionate about courses that provide access to higher education and apprenticeships and will work closely with teams across the University Group to ensure that students receive an excellent and appropriate education.

In addition the post holder will support the Group Director of Quality Assurance, undertaking project work and contributing to tasks in the Group Quality Unit. It is important to enjoy working on a range of projects and have an appetite for innovation and change whilst remaining calm and focussed when working under pressure to meet deadlines.

We are looking for a pro-active individual who is able to work on their own initiative with a minimum of supervision and also collaborate within and across teams. Successful candidates will be expected to develop a sound knowledge of a variety of delivery patterns. You will be able to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
