Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the School of Biomedical Sciences (Ref.: 494087), to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Sciences, Bioengineering, Biological Science, or a related discipline.  Preference will be given to those with strong experience in mammalian cell culture, molecular biology, genome engineering, and next-generation sequencing techniques.  Applicants should also be organized, self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team.  The appointee will work under the supervision of Dr. Alan Wong on research projects relating to cutting-edge synthetic biology, genome engineering, and combinatorial genetics technologies.  Enquiries about the post should be sent to Dr. Alan Wong by e-mail at aslw@hku.hk.
