To undertake research, administration, and other activities supporting the John Templeton Foundation funded project Conjunctive Explanations: how Science and Religion can work together (CESAR): Area 1, History of Science and Religion, directed by Dr Diarmid Finnegan (PI) and Professor David Livingstone (CI). The aim of area 1 is to explore and examine the relations between evolutionary theory and philosophical theology in the early twentieth century.
