Role Description

The Changing World of Work Group focuses on examining the implications of the changing work context on managing people and organisations. The Group combines expertise from the areas of Human Resource Management (HRM), Employment Relations, Leadership, Organisational Behaviour, and Gender, Diversity and Inclusion in order to provide thought leadership in this area. The Group also provides teaching and learning across Cranfield’s many graduate programmes (e.g. full-time and Executive MBA, MSc in Management, MSc in Management & Leadership) and is in the process of developing a new Executive MBA (Human Capital).

Due to the temporary secondment of one of our team into another role within the School, a vacancy has arisen for a part-time Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Human Resource Management and/or Employment Relations.  The candidate would be expected to teach and lead modules in the areas of Employment Relations and Strategic Human Resource Management on the Executive and Full-Time MBA programmes as well as a range of Masters Programmes.  The successful candidate would report to Emma Parry, Professor of Human Resource Management and the Head of the Changing World of Work Group.

This is a good opportunity for an enthusiastic lecturer with experience of teaching and leading modules at post-graduate level to join a thriving business school environment on a part-time basis.

For an informal discussion and further details about the position, please contact Professor Emma Parry, Professor of Human Resource Management, on +44 (0)1234 75(4808) or email: emma.parry@cranfield.ac.uk

At Cranfield we value Diversity and Inclusion, and aim to create and maintain a culture in which everyone can work and study together harmoniously with dignity and respect and realise their full potential. We actively consider flexible working options such as part-time, compressed or flexible hours and/or an element of homeworking, and commit to exploring the possibilities for each role.
