About the position

There is 1-2 temporary position(s) available at NTNU Business School as Postdoctoral Fellow in Business Administration for a period of two years (or three with obligation to work).

The position as a Postdoctoral Fellow is a fixed-term position with the primary goal of qualifying for work in professional academic chair positions.

Job description

Relevant subjects for the postdoctoral fellow are management accounting and control, financial accounting, finance, economics, organizational theory, strategy and management. NTNU Business School is aiming to strengthen the research activity, and we primarily want to link the positions to our three research centers.

At the centers' websites you will find some relevant research areas in which the centers are involved.

The candidate is expected to publish his/her research in international publication channels and to work actively to receive research grants from the Research Council of Norway and other available sources.

Qualification requirements

A Norwegian PhD is required in a relevant field or an equivalent foreign PhD approved as equivalent to a Norwegian PhD.

Employment will be activated in accordance to existing regulations of 31.01.2006 with NTNUs supplementary purviews of 17.06.2009.

In the evaluation of which candidate is best qualified, emphasis will be placed on education, experience and personal suitability, as well as motivation, in terms of the qualification requirements specified in the advertisement

Salary and conditions

Postdoctoral candidates are remunerated in code 1352, and are normally remunerated at gross from NOK 515 200 before tax per year. From the salary, 2 % is deducted as a contribution to the Norwegian Public Service Pension Fund.

Appointment takes place on the terms that apply to State employees at any time, and after the appointment you must assume that there may be changes in the area of work.
