Assistant Professor in Agribusiness & Consumer Science

The Department of Agribusiness and Consumer Science seeks to fill this position in Agricultural Resource Management and Extension of Assistant Professor. This position focuses on agricultural economics and agribusiness management with emphasis on agricultural resource management and agricultural extension. RESPONSIBILITIES: Teach, advise, and mentor undergraduate and graduate students - Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in agricultural extension, technology transfer, community development, and technology transfer. - Advise and mentor undergraduate and graduate students in a variety of academic endeavors Conduct research and procure both internal and external funding - Conduct effectively and disseminate research and outreach findings nationally and internationally - Seek and secure internal and external funding to support research, teaching, and/or outreach - Collaborate with another faculty members in support of University, College of Food and Agriculture (CFA) and Department research mission and objectives. Actively engage in agricultural extension services, community development and outreach to the department, college and university outreach to the community in the United Arab Emirates and the profession.
