RMIT DSC - Vocational Education (VE) are seeking experienced VE teachers for our casual pool who hold the relevant VE teaching qualifications, teaching experience and recent industry experience in the following areas;
- Certificate IV in Youth Work
- Diploma of Youth Work
Sessional teaching work is available at our city campus, Monday to Friday. All classes are delivered between 8:30 - 6:30 depending on timetable.
Occasionally there is other work available such as designing and mapping assessment, conducting RPL, and small projects which require a high level of VET expertise.
We are seeking expressions of interest for teaching in Semester 1 and 2, 2019.
A current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or updated TAE40110 is mandatory.
An undergraduate qualification in the Community Services (Youth Work) field and/or extensive and current industry experience is essential.
Demonstrated experience of teaching in Vocational Education is preferred.
Appointment to a casual teaching position is subject to passing a Working with Children Check.
