The Faculty of Clinical and Biomedical Sciences and School of Medicine is developing a theme of Medical Education research and teaching, and an expansion of the capacity is necessary. As the Post Graduate Programme expands and develops, there is a need for staff to assist in the delivery of the programme, particularly as it moves out to a global community.
The school therefore wishes to appoint a Senior Lecturer in Medical Education to support the development of the post graduate educational provision in medical education and take the lead for the delivery, quality assurance and assessment of credit bearing courses in this area.
You will hold a PhD or willingness to commence study a long with a higher degree in an area related to Medical Education. Familiarity with education pedagogy is essential for this post.
Experience of working within a postgraduate program in Medical Education is essential alongside willingness to undertake distance learning development. You must possess excellent communication and presentation skills and have strong planning and team management skills.
