The MGSE is seeking a talented Senior Research Officer to enable outstanding research outcomes for the School. The Senior Research Officer works in partnership with academic staff to enable innovative research programs across education and allied disciplines. The Officer is responsible for the delivery of high quality support services and will actively work to increase the level and diversity of research funding to the Graduate School  The successful candidate will have a continuous improvement mindset and provide expert advice and analysis and develop the research management systems and processes to support MGSE's research portfolio.

As the successful candidate, you will be required to:

  • Coordinate high level grant development and support and advise on external research funding, supporting academic staff in developing competitive research grant bids;
  • Coordinate and operationalise MGSE’s involvement in the Excellence for Research (ERA) in Australia exercise;
  • Lead the provision of outstanding support for MGSE’s participation and success in external grant programs.
