Job Summary
The Center for Arab American Studies is seeking applications for a LEO Intermittent Lecturer position to teach AAST 3150/HIST 3671, Introduction to Arab American Studies. The appointment is for Summer I Half Term 2019 only (May 4, 2019, June 24, 2019).
Terms and conditions of employment for this position as posted are subject to the provisions of a Collective Bargaining Agreement between the University of Michigan and the Lecturers Employee Organization.
Required Qualifications*
The candidate must hold a Ph.D. (or have achieved ABD status) in Sociology, Anthropology, History, American Studies or a closely related field and be knowledgeable in the topics covered in an Introduction to Arab American studies course (or similar).
Desired Qualifications*
Qualified candidates should be fluent in the area of expertise and exhibit evidence of excellent teaching skills.
