Science for Life Laboratory (SciLifeLab) is a collaboration between four universities in Stockholm and Uppsala: Stockholm University, the Karolinska Institute, the Royal Institute of Technology, and Uppsala University. SciLifeLab is a national center for large-scale biosciences with a focus on health and environmental research. The center combines advanced technical know-how and state-of-the-art equipment with a broad knowledge in translational medicine and molecular biosciences.

We seek an experienced project coordinator with extensive experience of leading and coordinating projects involving multiple stakeholders from different organizations and locations. The position will be placed at the central operations office at SciLifeLab but work to support the national Drug Discovery and Development platform and the national platform for Chemical Biology & Genome Engineering in their long-term strategic planning. Besides a thorough hands-on experience with leading and coordinating projects of strategic nature, it is of great importance to have an understanding of the current mode of operation and organization of SciLifeLab, affiliated universities, stakeholders, and the Swedish life science ecosystem.

Eligible applicants will have a well documented track record of relevance to the employment. Experience from industrial project leader positions in the life science sector, or other high-tech industries, are highly meriting. You will need a strong passion for organization and structure, writing of strategic plans, and arranging and executing meetings with both internal and nationally distributed stakeholders of the facilities within the two platforms. The candidate should have excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.
