You will contribute to the strategic car park planning and manage, lead and direct the car parks operations of the University ensuring a cost effective, efficient and professional service is provided.

You will manage the staff waiting list, the cycle shelters, pool cars and the white list processes.

You will act as Health & Safety Advisor for the car parks unit liaising as necessary with Security Services Unit. You will manage and contribute to planning allocated budgets, ensuring all services operate within approved budgets and financial regulations and ensure that all car park systems are compliant with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCIDSS).

You will be responsible for the recruitment, training and welfare of staff within the Car Parks Unit.

You will possess a relevant Management qualification and/or have significant experience in a similar role including experience of managing manual and administrative staff. In addition you will have a relevant financial qualification and/or significant experience in the production and management of medium and long term budgets. You will be able to demonstrate significant experience in the management of a car parking service of similar size in terms of spaces and locations and possess experience of identifying innovative methods of maximising income.
