About the position

This is an outstanding opportunity for a suitably qualified person to join the Faculty of Society & Design at an exciting time of growth and development.

The primary focus of the position is to manage the Psychology Clinic and activities associated with the practical aspects of professional training in Psychology for postgraduate students. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining client referrals, organising student placements within the network of local agencies and contributing to postgraduate students meeting their professional graduate competencies.

Other responsibilities will include overseeing the day-to-day management of the Psychology Test Library and promoting the Psychology Clinic within the community.

About the person:

The successful applicant will hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, including a minimum of two years’ work experience as a practicing Psychologist along with professional qualifications in all of the following:

  • Full registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency {AHPRA);
  • Full membership (or eligibility) with the Australian Psychological Society (APS);
  • Clinical Psychology endorsement with the Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA)
  • Approval as a supervising Psychologist by the Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA)

Salary details:

The salary for the position is $109,679.51 plus 9.5% superannuation per annum.
