PROJECT COORDINATORCenter for Biomedical Innovation (CBI)-Biomanufacturing (BioMAN) Program, to work on several projects, including Smart Data Analytics in Biomanufacturing, assessing whether the best data analytical tool was utilized for risk-based decision-making; and Competency Model and Curriculum for Biopharmaceutical Data Scientists which is applying data analytics to enhance the efficiency of business planning and operations. Responsibilities include coordinating the development and implementation of detailed project plans in the BioMAN program; maintaining project plans/schedules/deliverables; tracking key project metrics; compiling, reviewing, and analyzing complex data/findings; creating progress reports; providing recommendations on next steps and issue resolution; drafting and edit correspondence, presentations, and other documents; creating/editing spreadsheets to track activities; and providing recommendations on next steps, issue resolution, etc. 

Job Requirements

REQUIRED bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering, chemical engineering biology, bioengineering, or other biotechnology-related major; at least two years’ project management experience; knowledge of biomanufacturing processes, data analytics, and/or regulatory operations; excellent organizational, time and project management, interpersonal, relationship management, and oral and written communication skills; ability to consolidate feedback from multiple sources into a cohesive single output document; ability to work in a fast-paced, and entrepreneurial environment; success working independently and within a dynamic and closely-knit team; self-motivation; attention to detail; ability to think strategically, exert influence, negotiate, work across boundaries, set priorities, coordinate multiple tasks, meet competing deadlines, and deliver results; good judgment and discretion with confidential information; proficiency with MS Office; and ability and willingness to learn new programs.  Experience working in a multi-stakeholder/consortium environment with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures preferred, as is experience in the biotech industry and with directing goal-oriented research in a company or academic setting. Job #17121
