You will provide analysis of data from the National Drug Treatment Monitoring System (NDTMS) to key stakeholders: Public Health England (PHE), Local Authorities, Substance Misuse Service Providers, and the UK Focal Point on Drugs.

You will be required to work with the drug treatment monitoring programme funded by PHE, developing outputs to support the commissioning of substance misuse treatment in England. Currently, this is primarily in relation to the NDTMS, a key public information resource.

You will join a team that, in coordination with web development staff, will produce NDTMS outputs as detailed below. It should be noted that the level of complexity involved in these analyses requires appropriate methods to handle large, process generated data files containing (long format) panel data to create sensible, double verified results. A significant level of independent working will be expected after an initial supervision period.
