Salary: Scale Point 20 - £24,771 per annum
This is a key post that will contribute to the ambitions of the University's Strategic Plan 2017/18 - 2022/23. To plan cyclical menus, organise and direct the preparation and cooking of food service areas ensuring customer satisfaction whilst driving sales. Responsible for all aspects of food safety, health and safety and COSHH procedures within the food production areas.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- To manage plan, organise the overall food provision at the catering venues at Cardiff Metropolitan University.
- To establish a quality, cost effective provision of menus in conjunction with the Catering and Hospitality Services Manager.
- To control and manage the hospitality menus provided to ensure correct presentation and service levels are maintained across all units.
