About the Job

This role will conduct research in the area of nanoparticle toxicological studies in contributing to work for the recently awarded ‘Nanoparticle regulation of DNA replication and repair pathways’ Discovery Project. Under limited supervision, the Research Associate will collaborate with industry and other stakeholders to design and execute experiments related to measuring the impact on cell regulation by exposure to nanoparticles.

Skills and Experience

A PhD in biomaterials and/or nanotechnology/nanomedicine and some related industry experience along with experience in biological assays associated with cell survival and DNA insult are essential for this role. The successful applicant will have experience in a variety of statistical analyses, evidence of high quality research output and highly developed and demonstrated technical expertise in the design and execution of experiments.

If you are a collaborative researcher with highly developed written, verbal, and interpersonal skills and experience in programming or image processing, and proteomics and/or genomics, then we want to hear from you.
