Catering Services Brayford - Atrium

We are looking for an enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join the team at the University of Lincoln. You must be able to demonstrate a passion for food, the ability to deliver exemplary customer service to the students and staff using the cafes and also love making great espresso based drinks.

This role will be based in our Good Food & Co unit in the David Chiddick Building, as this unit is a We Proudly Serve Starbucks unit previous experience in a Starbucks unit would be a benefit.

This is a real hands on role for someone who wants to make a difference for customers, use their imagination to increase sales and be involved in every part of the units operation from serving customers, cash handling and food safety.

You will already be working in a catering environment, able to build relationships, deliver a great experience for our customers, have good communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively using your initiative.

The starting date is March 2019, please note the working weeks may not be the same as school term dates.

Hours of work are 37 per week over 40 weeks and shift times will normally be 8.00am to 4.00pm inc 30 min unpaid lunch, Monday to Thursday and 3.30 pm on Friday. There will be the requirement to be flexible with start and finish times due to the needs of the business, there will also be a requirement to work at least 4 of the university open days that take place at weekends. In due course there will also be a requirement for this role to work 5 days over 7 as the department  moves to meet the need of a 24/7 campus.
