About the Position:
This is an outstanding opportunity for a suitably qualified academic to join the Faculty of Society & Design at an exciting time of growth and development.
The emphases of the position is to deliver and undertake teaching and research within the areas of building measurement and quantity surveying. Additional experience related to any of the areas listed below would be preferred:
- Construction technology
- Building Information Modelling (BIM)
- Building services
- Contract administration
- Construction management
About the Person:
The successful applicant will hold a PhD in a relevant field and/or have extensive relevant industry experience. It is desirable that the applicant is a member of a relevant professional body such as the RICS or Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors or be eligible for such membership.
As a member of academic staff the successful applicant will be responsible for contributing to teaching, research and service in the Faculty and University at the undergraduate and postgraduate level. The successful applicant will also engage in professional and industry liaison and provide student support within the Faculty.

Assistant Professor remuneration commences at $115,033 per annum plus superannuation.
Associate Professor remuneration commences at $143,126 per annum plus superannuation.
