The La Trobe Rural Health School is the largest rural health school in Australia offering a wide range of health courses including dentistry, nursing, oral health, paramedicine, public health, physiotherapy, social work, podiatry, speech pathology, exercise science and physiology, as well as occupational therapy.  Due to significant Commonwealth Government funding, we have state of the art teaching and simulation areas.

About the position

This position will provide administrative research support to the Head of School, Professor Pamela Snow, whose research focuses on oral language skills and early literacy development, particularly as these pertain to vulnerable groups, e.g. children and adolescents in and leaving state care, and adolescents in the youth justice system.

Skills and Experience

To be considered for this position, you will possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Speech Pathology and have strong oral and written communication skills. You will have the ability to work effectively under limited supervision as well as independently and be able to work as a member of a team. Liaison with external stakeholders is a key aspect of this role.
