Within the Faculty of Technology, Design and Environment, our School of the Built Environment is a globally renowned centre of excellence. Having undergone significant transformation and growth over the last decade, we are proud of our comprehensive range of leading edge and innovative programmes at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels and our highly dynamic and thriving research community.  

Following the recent promotion of our Head of School, we are now looking for an outstanding individual with the vision, drive and ambition to build on the School's success and lead it through the next stage of its development. 

To be successful, you will have an excellent track record of leadership, research and teaching in a relevant discipline.   You will be creative, imaginative and inspiring, and will work collaboratively with the Pro Vice Chancellor and Dean and key stakeholders to develop and implement a renewed vision and strategy for the School which enhances our global reputation and profile, and strengthens our programme portfolio, interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary approaches, online/digital provision and global partnerships. As an active member of the Faculty Executive Team, you will be proactive in contributing to the strategic leadership and direction of the Faculty.
