Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Social Work and Social Administration (Ref.: 494044), to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Social Sciences, Public Health, Policy, Statistics, Social Work, Economics, or other related disciplines.  They should have proficiency in written and spoken in Chinese and English; excellent analytical evaluation and problem solving skills; good understand of the advanced quantitative and qualitative statistical analyses in social sciences research; and the ability to work independently and as a team. Those with experience in managing multidisciplinary research projects, and a track record of publication in gerontology or related research areas are preferred.

The appointee will assist the Principal Investigator in planning, managing, coordinating, and implementing research projects on dementia services and policies.  The appointee will be responsible for overseeing data collection and analysis, as well as drafting reports and manuscripts; supervising Research Assistants; and performing any other relevant tasks as assigned. There will be ample opportunities to work with international scholars and experts, social care and healthcare professionals, as well as stakeholders in elderly care service and policy.
