The International College of Management, Sydney (ICMS), a leading private provider of higher education, is seeking expressions of interest from qualified and experienced undergraduate and post-graduate lecturers to join the Academic department on a casual/sessional basis teaching across both the Sydney CBD and Manly campus.

Applications are invited from individuals with appropriate qualifications and teaching experience to teach in the following undergraduate subjects:

  • Retail and Logistics and Value Chain

  • Law – Business, Governance
  • Entrepreneurship & Innovation
  • Human Resources
  • Property Management
  • Event Management
  • Tourism Management
  • Hospitality Management
  • Facilities Management
  • Managing Service Relationships
  • Service Operations Management
  • Media Management

Essential Criteria:

  • Masters qualification relevant to the area of teaching or PhD (or equivalent) if teaching post-graduate subjects
  • Demonstrated experience and success teaching international students
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching at the postgraduate level
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Evidence of current professional practice and scholarly activity
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (e.g. Moodle)

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience in developing new course materials of high standard
  • Industry experience and the capacity to develop relationships with industry partners
  • Experience in e-learning and/or blended learning environments
  • Ability to work collaboratively with faculty across programs
