The University of Huddersfield is looking to appoint a dynamic and experienced Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Illustration.

The successful applicant will be a practising Illustrator with a strong profile, who can show a depth of knowledge and understanding of current trends in art and communication and help carry the department forward in new and innovative ways.

Candidates from a broad range of creative professional practices in illustration will be considered, with experience at HE level. As an active practitioner in your field you will have a creative profile that informs your teaching. You will have an excellent track record of teaching and supporting students at either undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels. Experience of curriculum development and module leadership or willingness to take on these responsibilities will be considered an advantage.

With a Masters in an appropriate subject area, you will be encouraged to contribute to the research ethos in the Department. You will be joining a dedicated, passionate and forward-thinking team.

In addition to your application, you will be required to submit a digital portfolio of your illustration with your application.
