Following the recent appointment of our new Vice-Chancellor Professor Lynn Dobbs, the University is now seeking to appoint to the newly created post of Deputy Vice-Chancellor. Reporting to the Vice-Chancellor, and a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the successful candidate will play a leading role in the development and delivery of the University’s vision and strategy. This will include particular responsibility for leading and developing the University’s academic activities across teaching and research, ensuring the very best experience and outcomes for our students.

Alongside a track record of successful academic leadership and management, candidates will demonstrate deep commitment to student education and student outcomes. An entrepreneurial leader, with a good understanding of the UK Higher Education sector, the successful candidate will evidence commercial acumen and a commitment to innovation, as well as an ability to develop networks internally and externally for the benefit of the University and its stakeholders.
