An opportunity to join our community has become available, and we are currently seeking a Head of School to lead the School of Allied and Public Health through continued growth, change and transformation. Sitting within the Faculty of Health and Wellbeing, the Allied Health and Public Health agenda provides a breadth of possibilities for development, and staff in our new school are engaged in a wide range of initiatives at local, national and international level. Therefore, we are keen to appoint a Head of School who can enable portfolio development, and facilitate continuous improvement and high quality outcomes. 

The school delivers an exciting mix of student, research and enterprise activities, which engages around 1,350 students annually across the following subject areas: Diagnostic Radiography, Occupational Therapy, Operating Department Practitioners, Ophthalmic Dispensing, Paramedics, Physiotherapy, Public Health and Health Promotion, and Speech and Language Therapy. 

As an experienced strategic leader and manager, you will be able to evidence success and focus to assure a high quality student and staff experiences. As a role model and facilitator, you will be able to deliver excellence in all aspects of the role, including research and enterprise activities. You will be an ambitious and experienced academic with a relevant recognised status, or professional background, to support your sound appreciation of the complexity in contemporary health and care environment and higher education.  The appointed candidate will be genuinely passionate about the mission, values and culture nurtured at Canterbury Christ Church University.
