An opportunity has arisen within the School of Community Health and Midwifery for a Lecturer to join our highly committed Health and Social Care team. The successful applicant will be enthusiastic and visionary, keen to shape education and influence the student experience in a positive manner.
Applicants must be currently working within a Health and Social care environment and be educated to graduate level in a subject related to Health & Social care. Extensive, contemporary practice experience is essential, and you'll have a keen interest in developments in the health and social care field. You will be committed to the success of your students and be able to show that you can effectively support learning and teaching in both the classroom and placement areas. A flexible, innovative approach to teaching, learning and assessment as well as within the changing educational environment is essential. A teaching qualification and experience in teaching, learning and assessment is required.
The successful applicant will assist in the development and delivery of the curricula including the Foundation Degree programmes and other relevant studies. There will be an expectation that the successful candidates will lead academic modules and teach across UCLan's campuses on a range of courses.
