£21,414 - £23,334 PER ANNUM
FIXED TERM CONTRACT UNTIL 5TH JANUARY 2020

The Strategic Economic Development Directorate is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Administrator to support the delivery of the Practice Assessment Record & Evaluation Project. This project seeks to embed the use of web based practice learning assessment and practice learning evaluation processes across a range of UK Higher Education Institutions (HEI) and healthcare placement providers; and across a range of differing healthcare progression groups / programmes.
You will provide higher level administrative support to the Director of PARE and supervision to a growing team of Project Administrators and Web Developers. You will draw upon experience of working in the commercial I.T. sector to lead on the administration and oversight of cross-team projects initiated by the Director of PARE, including supervising and overseeing the workload of project team members. You will make independent decisions about monitoring, reviewing and revising all the administrative functions of PARE, and act as a point of authority on these issues and processes to internal and external audiences. You will be expected to respond to first line staffing problems and team welfare issues as required and act as the office supervisor in the absence of the Director.
Knowledge and understanding of Higher education and/or Health Service provision would be an advantage, as would previous administrative experience in either of the above environments and an ability to problem solve.
