College Connect is one of a series of HEA funded PATH (Programme for Access to Higher Education Fund) projects to facilitate regional approaches to supporting access to higher education. College Connect aims to enhance educational aspirations for the most socio-economically disadvantaged people in the Midlands East North Dublin (MEND) regional cluster through a participative and sustainable suite of activities and resources to illuminate pathways and provide opportunities into, through and beyond higher education. College Connect is a collaborative initiative between Athlone Institute of Technology, Dublin City University, Dundalk Institute of Technology, and Maynooth University and community partners in the region. 400 additional entrants from the most disadvantaged groups according to goal 5 of the National Plan for Equity of Access to Higher Education 2015-2019 across the region will enter the 4 HEIs involved over the course of the 3 year programme. College Connect will facilitate the development of regional relationships, fora, strategies, structures and processes involving target group stakeholders who will take ownership of, and lead on sustainability beyond the funding window.

Administrative Officer Grade II Salary Scale: 37,323 - 53,707 per annum (9 points)

Appointment will be made in accordance with the Department of Finance pay guidelines.

*New entrants to the public sector will be appointed on the first point of the above scale.
