Lecturer in International Relations (Security Studies)

Department : Department of War Studies

The Department of War Studies has an opportunity for a Lecturer in International Relations (Security Studies) to start in September 2019. This is an exciting role which will play a key part in delivering the department's online strategy.

The postholder will:

  • Take a role in the planning, organisation and delivery of modules and programmes for War Studies, including both residential and online programmes

  • Undertake high-quality research in the subject area, to publish the findings in highly-rated internationally recognised journals, and to participate in the major internationally recognised academic networks

  • Sustain high-quality research activity through a portfolio of individual and/or joint research projects and to secure the funding required for this research as required.

This post will be offered on an indefinite contract.

This is a full time post.

The selection process will include a panel interview and presentation.

Grade and Salary : Grade 6, £37,412 to £44,015 per annum, inclusive of £3,223 per annum London Allowance.
