Duties

The laboratory of Dr. John Lambris is seeking a highly motivated Research Specialist to collaborate on research projects within the laboratory at the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, in the Perelman School of Medicine. The individual will be responsible for performing a variety of biochemical and immunological assays, including ELISA, SDS-PAGE, cell and bacteria culture, PCR, immunohistochemistry and assist others with the use of equipment and analysis of data.

Position is contingent on continued funding.

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s Degree and 0 to 1 year of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are essential. After a period of training candidate will be expected to work independently with moderate supervision as well as be willing to assist other laboratory personnel as requested.
