  • Continuing, part-time 0.8FTE (28 Hours per week) and base salary $84Kp.a pro-rata and superannuation

About the opportunity 

The Senior Administration Officer will be responsible for providing high level support to the Professor of Geriatric Medicine and Deputy Head of Concord Clinical School. The role holder will also be responsible for the management of all administration functions of CERA, including liaising with the University’s HR and ICT staff, external organisations and the general community.

  • Tertiary qualifications in business administration and relevant experience in business administration
  • experience in the provision of administrative support to academic staff and experience in tertiary education sector and hospital environment
  • excellent organisational and communication skills including the ability to exercise a high level of initiative, tact and discretion in dealing with sensitive and confidential matters
  • ability to establish and maintain excellent working relationships with a wide range of people – within the University, Hospital and professional bodies.

The successful candidate will also possess outstanding attention to detail in all matters with high level of analytical and problem solving skills along with strong accounting and computing skills with extensive experience in maintaining and preparing financial reports.
