Senior Research Assistant - Faculty of Engineering and Environment
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Masters or postdoctoral self-starter to work with a research team for seven months on a fixed term project. The successful candidate will work in collaboration with the Centre for Digital Built Britain, based in Cambridge University.
The successful candidate will have an Architectural /Construction /Engineering or computing background or computing background as well as the ability to use range of software authoring tools such as Revit Rhino and BIM. Knowledge of energy analysis software will be an advantage such as IES or Design Builder. An in depth knowledge of software interchangeability and BIM solutions is essential as is time management and the ability to learn new skills. The project will focus on developing solutions to operational and embodied energy analysis using BIM construction templates, with the aim on developing building energy solutions, this includes operational and embodied energy.
