The School of Science and Health is educating tomorrow's graduates in an environment that is contemporary, challenging, and adaptive to a rapidly evolving world. Our teaching programs are intrinsically interdisciplinary, and cover a broad range of professional and other disciplines in the health science, biomedical science, and science areas. All the health science programs combine strong inter-professional health competencies common to all health science professionals and specialist discipline practice.

We are seeking a forward thinking, dynamic, and innovative scholar to take on a role at the level of Lecturer (Level B) or Senior Lecturer (Level C) in Sport Development and to contribute to our undergraduate and postgraduate programs in this area. 

The successful applicant will be expected to be involved in a range of academic activities including the coordination and teaching of units in the new Bachelor of Sport Development program. The appointee will be expected to conduct research and supervise, where appropriate, undergraduate (Honours) and postgraduate (Masters and PhD) students in their area of expertise. The appointee will work closely with research and teaching staff in the School of Science and Health and will be encouraged to develop collaborations across the wider University. Appointees will also be required to foster relevant relationships external to the University for internship and research programs.

This is a full-time, ongoing position based at the Parramatta Campus.

Remuneration Package:

  • Academic Level B: $118,078 to $139,331 p.a. (Comprising Salary $99,777 to $117,818 p.a., 17 % Superannuation and Leave Loading).
  • Academic Level C: $143,550 to $164,668 p.a. (Comprising Salary $121,424 to $139,474 p.a., 17 % Superannuation and Leave Loading).
