Nazarbayev University is seeking highly qualified full-time faculty members to join its rapidly growing program in Computer Science in the School of Science and Technology.  Positions are available at all ranks (Instructor to Full Professor).  Applicants with research and teaching interests in all areas of computing, with special, but not exclusive interest  in fields related to Intelligent Systems, Cyber Security, Sensor Networks, Software Engineering, Mobile Computing, Bio-Informatics, Computer Graphics, and High-Performance Computing are encouraged to apply. Successful candidates at the rank of Assistant Professor and above must have a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or very related discipline from a reputable research university, and a demonstrated ability for research.  All candidates must have excellent English-language communication skills and a strong commitment to teaching.

Position responsibilities include an average teaching load of two courses per semester (three courses per semester for Instructors), curricular and program development, ongoing engagement in relevant professional and research activities, student advising, committee service, and other activities related to the intellectual and cultural environment of the university
