The NIHR Patient Safety Translational Research Centre Greater Manchester seeks a full-time Research Fellow for two years in the first instance with a possible extension. Funding is available to undertake this post on a full-time basis, but job-share or part-time working applications would be welcome.

The University Principal Investigator and Director will be Professor Stephen Campbell. This post will be appointed in the Medication Safety theme under the line management of Professor Darren Ashcroft. The key purpose of this post is to provide high quality project management for the relevant PSTRC Greater Manchester projects, ensuring delivery of projects in a timely and rigorous fashion and to a strict timetable and budget. This will involve extensive liaison with the project team and collaborators.

You will have a PhD (or equivalent) in relevant health services research. You will have significant demonstrable previous experience in advanced quantitative research skills relevant to the research theme, including the use of the appropriate software packages. You will have a track record in the delivery of high quality papers in peer reviewed journals.
