Applications are invited for a permanent position based in Research & Innovation Services (RIS). We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a background in securing research grant income. You will manage the pre and post-award support of external research grant funding applications to a range of funding bodies including; Research Councils, Charities, Government (UK and EU). The Research Grants Manager will advise the academic community and professional services colleagues on sources of funding, eligibility and evaluation criteria and provide post-award guidance and support.

This is a strategic role with significant responsibility for implementing change and approving grant submission on behalf of the institution. You will brief the Senior Management of the University on developments relating to the changing funding landscape and identify opportunities for the University to maximise its research income. You will be a member of the Grants, Policy and Projects team within RIS, with Line Management responsibility of a number of Funding Officers within the team.
