In order to achieve our ambitions we are now looking to recruit a Senior Lecturer/Reader in Data Analytics for Finance. The successful candidate will initiate, lead and launch research projects and be passionate about bridging the gap between the academic community and business world. Applications are sought from outstanding scholars with strong interests in being a part of the Banking and Finance Group.

The post-holder will be expected to contribute to the group in the areas of research, impact, teaching and administration. The School places a premium on international levels of scholarship and research excellence as we continue to develop key international partnerships to support our significant growth agenda. You will hold a PhD in a relevant field and have a high-quality track record of publications in leading referred journals. Some experience of grant applications as well as ability to translate research into impactful insights for practice or policy would be beneficial.

We are looking to recruit an outstanding candidate, with an interest in Data Analytics, to join the King's Business School. The School is one of the top ten ranked centres for the study of management and business in the UK, and became an independent Faculty on 1 August 2017, reflecting growth in the range and scale of research and teaching. There are presently over 100 academic staff and a full range of undergraduate, Masters and PhD programmes. 

As such we are going through an exciting development phase and are looking for high quality people to join our growing team. The School places a premium on international levels of scholarship and research excellence and you will be expected to play a role in the standing and development of the Group in this regard.

The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to high quality research and will be able to contribute excellent teaching to the development of our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. You should hold a PhD in a relevant field, have a high quality track record of publications in leading refereed journals and some experience in securing research income.

King's Business School is committed to ensuring an inclusive interview process and will reimburse up to £250 towards any additional care costs (for a dependant child or adult) incurred as a result of attending an interview for this position.

This post will be offered on an indefinite full-time contract.

The selection process will include a panel interview, an assessment, a presentation.
