Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Division of Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology of the Department of Medicine (Ref.: 493939), to commence as soon as possible for two years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree in Immunology, Biological Sciences, Bioinformatics or a related discipline with relevant hands-on experience. Experience in analysing Next-Generation Sequencing data would be an advantage.  Applicants should also be self-motivated and highly independent to work with a team of young vibrant wet-lab researchers, with good communication and interpersonal skills.  The appointee will be responsible for conducting independent research to study immunodysregulation in systemic lupus erythematosus. Projects on cell biology or bioinformatics analyses on Next-Generation Sequencing data are available and the appointee can choose according to his/her area of expertise.  Enquiries about the duties of the post should be sent to Dr. Vera Chan at sfvchan@hku.hk.
